DartsHQ — Terms and Conditions
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DartsHQ application and service operated by DartsHQ Software Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("DartsHQ", "we", "us", "our").
By registering for an account or using the DartsHQ service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use DartsHQ. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or over. If we discover that an account belongs to a person under 18 we will close it.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You may update your details at any time via the app settings.
4. Free Tier and Pro Subscription
Free tier: DartsHQ offers a free tier with limited features. Free tier users have access to basic game tracking, the psychometric assessment, and limited AI features as described on our pricing page.
Pro subscription: DartsHQ Pro is available at £8.99 per month or £59.99 per year, payable in advance.
Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial of Pro features. No payment card is required to start a free trial.
Billing: After your free trial ends, if you choose to subscribe, your payment method will be charged on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until that date.
Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law (see Cooling-Off Period below) or at our sole discretion.
5. Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of first subscribing without giving any reason and receive a full refund.
To exercise your right to cancel, contact us at hello@dartshq.com within 14 days of subscribing. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.
Please note: if you have made substantial use of the Pro features during the 14-day period, we reserve the right to deduct a proportionate amount from your refund to reflect the value of the service already provided. We will always act reasonably in applying this provision.
We reserve the right to refuse a cooling-off refund where we have reasonable grounds to believe the right is being exercised in bad faith or in a pattern consistent with abuse of this provision.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use DartsHQ for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the service
- Upload or transmit any malicious code or content
- Impersonate any other user or person
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
7. AI Coaching Features
DartsHQ uses Google's Gemini AI to generate coaching content, analysis, and training plans. AI-generated content is for informational and coaching purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional sports coaching or medical advice.
AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate. DartsHQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
8. Autodarts Integration
DartsHQ offers optional integration with Autodarts hardware via our connector software. This integration is provided as-is. DartsHQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by Autodarts. Use of Autodarts hardware is subject to Autodarts' own terms and conditions.
9. Third-Party Services
DartsHQ integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Google Gemini (AI), Brevo (email), and optionally ElevenLabs (audio). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. DartsHQ is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party providers.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, and branding within DartsHQ is owned by DartsHQ Software Ltd or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any personal data you input into the service, including your throw data and profile information.
11. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep DartsHQ available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the service. Where we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice where possible.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DartsHQ is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in subscription fees during that period
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time via the app settings.
Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in the app. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
